Jim Doyle, who intends on graduating from SUNY Buffalo State this May, has been born and raised in Buffalo. Pursing a degree in urban planning, he wishes to make this city more relevant and put Buffalo back on the map. Jim’s first love was baseball, but soon fell for basketball as he grew quite tall at a young age. He has been declared “The King of Crosby” (a local basketball court) by some natives and also has a current love interest in soccer. Doyle is oddly enough a diehard San Antonio Spurs fan as he discovered Tim Duncan’s bank shot in the fourth grade. Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals continues to be his nightmare. And don’t mistake his affection for the Spurs as a theme among his sporting allegiances; Jim loves the hometown Bills. Lastly, it was rumored that ESPN’s 30 for 30 series was interested on doing a story titled “The Rise and Fall.” The proposed film is believed to be documenting Jim’s dominance early in his playing days while addressing slides and hurdles later in his scholastic career.
